Agreed. I would add that the people holding tech stocks still believe in the "new economy" and are unwilling to sell at the current low? prices. If buyers don't want to buy and sellers don't wish to sell then volume drops.

I think this is bearish because eventually holders will figure out that there are no buyers for their stock, at current prices, and then they will panic.

Gst, like I've said I sold most of my tech stocks on March 31. If I had awaited 13 more days...my timing would have been perfect.
Now the question is when will be the next buying opportunity? Other than a dead pig bounce!
Probably when U Al tells us he's finished raising interest rates.
Do you know I remember when Paul Volker took interest rates up to 18% under Jimmy Carter...back then you couldn't give stock away, unless it was P&G.
