Do you know what this analyst in his/her brilliance had to say, by any chance.

Just curious. Won't really affect my position. I think my angst is more a matter of hurt vanity that my portfolio has taken such a big hit and won't look anywhere near as nice it did just 2 short months ago.

This turbulence doesn't affect in the least Sandisk's balance sheet, their JV with Toshiba, or the fundamentals of flash over the next few years. In fact, if anything, it would help if the economy slowed somewhat, since there will still be shortages, but perhaps some less well-heeled competitors may not be able to add capacity or raise cash necessary to finance operations as easily as they would with a stronger equity market.

And how. The market is nowhere near where it was in Oct 98, value-wise.
