"Workers calling the shots in Net biz"

A good article to read.
upside.com

If you take out the word "consulting" it could very well apply to gnet:

"companies and investors have become wary of the cultural stress that companies face when they must integrate company after company into their ranks. Fast growth at any cost was a priority during the period between 1997 and 1999, but now there is an emphasis on growth being manageable and tied to strategy rather than purchasing power."

"We'll continue to do very few acquisitions. It's an interesting trade off. You can grow through acquisitions, but the question is how effectively are you growing. There are a million companies that want to sell to me. We could buy 20 companies in the next two quarters if we were inclined to."

Sorry Levy, while I may have been a registered member of SI for a while, I have only been able to post or respond to messages since I joined NDB last week. Don't be so paranoid; and don't over read posts.
