I think it is lame. I am seeing a lot of failure patterns in the strong stocks. I got a bit bullish earlier this week, but now see that was folly.

looks like our PPT chums were hitting the wrong buttons this afternoon. some devious bugger crossed their signals and they ended up ramping an obscure coal producer named Arch something or other... if we could only get a 35% move out of the yellow junk producers LOL

another cheap resource stock with good money flow is EEX. they have some excellent prospects in the Gulf but have had some expensive dry holes thus far. very cheap on a cash flow and book basis; if they ever hit, and they are well down on one of their best prospects now, the baby will really fly. some late big buying today, but i don't know if its related to any buzz from the drill-site. speculative to be sure, but most of the risk of failure is already priced in.
