The rumour

Bloomberg TV mentions it & speculates that it's short-sellers.

I would be really suprised but... I'm surprised by this stock market too. I've heard nothing. I also heard this morning that there were rumors that CSCO had lost some big contract(s). Those rumors also aren't supported so far..

I think what it amounts too (I'm guessing of course) is that no one can really believe that CSCO would be trading down at these levels without some sort of news. So everyone is fishing. Seems to me (again guessing) that there would have been some sort of re-organizing going on at Cisco in preparation for a Chambers departure if this was going to happen. I'm not aware of any recent high level re-organizing going on... are you?

I heard Chambers is taking over Alan Greenspan's position, so Alan can spend more quality time with his 35 years old blonde wife Andrea Mitchell. I heard Greenspan's wife hasn't been too happy about how her hubby's monetary policy is affecting her porforlio lately.
