Just curious as to why WCOM ? I'm a long term holder of WCOM that's been debating on the sell. Figure many of the G&K's in here will bounce back much faster than WCOM and since the market hates uncertainty, it doesn't like WCOM right now.

Jacob, I was curious if you ever thought amat could become a gorilla. I realize that it is in a cyclic industry and the tornado has passed; I wonder however, if a company could become a gorilla on main street; with the purchase of the metrology companies several years ago and recently etec, amat has steadily moved into more and more niches of equip building; the recent rumor of interbay pod building by amat, sent asyt into a tail spin from which it has not yet recovered; it seems that the cost/inconvience of conversion to another company, would allow amat to increase market share as it creeps into new niches; I am not sure if the gorilla gamers feel that the conversion to 300mm could be considered a tornado of hypergrowth, which once again, could allow amat to control this sector.

I must confess, I own amat and some smaller ones although, it is unclear how long this up cycle will last; I am wondering if competing companies will merge to keep amat from becoming a cyclic gorilla or something smaller;a Caesar; its already a large king!? (Lam/Novellus/Mattson)
