My take on the techs (2 scenarios)

207.61.23.98

We either breakdown soon and make news lows (especially in the leaders). (3000-2600 area)

-or

We rally a bit and continue sideways. If this low holds it looks like a triangle/pendant formation is tracking out that should breakout to the upside or downside in about a month.

Personally I'd like to get this garbage over with sooner than later. I'm hoping for capitulation down to the 2600 area so it's done with once and for all.

I'm betting we make new lows soon.

Either way there is NO compelling reason to own techs right now.

Anyone notice that EEX was up almost 20% today? It's about 6% of my portfolio. Wish I would have added more, but I'm determined to keep some cash around.

I did buy a small amount of AEM today. BigBull AND Slider liking an issue is almost reason enough to buy.
