Whether or not that is true is worth extensive debate, along with the other issues, and the Administration has little credibility to carry on debate.

With the leaders of both parties promoting the same policies, there isn't going to be any real debate. Least that's how I see it.

As far as the Administrations's credibility to carry on debate - on this issue they don't have to debate. The Republican leadership's position on China trade is IDENTICAL to Clintons. I still don't know why but presume the industries who favor free trade with China simply own both major parties.

The only organized opponents are the labor unions (not powerful anymore), Ralph Nader and the far left ( a small powerless segment of the population), and Buchanan and the far right (ditto).
