FWIW here's a little anecdote. In March I finally switched to Sprint PCS (w/ Sanyo phone). In April my wife ditched her non-CMA phone and joined my plan, as did our teenage daughter. So in the space of a little over a month we went from 2 phones and 0 CDMA to 3 phones, all CDMA.
