I for one was hoping McCain would make it. Whatever your views on Vietnam, at least he had the guts to fight for his country and spend five long years as a POW.

During the Russian invasion of Afghanistan, a friend working for Life Magazine was captured by the Soviet army and held prisoner. I sent a letter off to my Senator McCain describing the situation. McCain got right on it, and was instrumental in obtaining his release.

Robert, I was one of many who put McCain on the map here in NH, I agree with you, I could vote for McVain, I absolutely, positively cannot vote for Bush. If only the "Body" would run (VBG).
