Mark, I learned a long time ago not to listen to what people say, and pay attention to what they do. Ciena's execution could not be better, save for the disappointing results, so far, for the EdgeDirector. This product may be just a little ahead of its time. Functionally, it does the job quite well. Let's give it a little more time before we write this one off. The CoreDirector is on track and looking extremely good, and will more than offset the weak results from the EdgeDirector. Regarding guidance: Bear in mind that Ciena has just recently had a nasty lawsuit thrown out, after years of fighting the money grubbing lawyers. It pays to be cautious when making any kind of projection. The best course is to let the analysts make the projections, and management can then safely say that the projections are reasonable. There is no need to grandstand. There are too many slimey law firms out there that are overly anxious to rape the shareholders. Jack
