I agree. To clarify: if I'm going to shift the bulk of my new economy investing from ST to LT as defined (and tacitly dictated) by U.S. and CA tax codes, I must only invest that % of my portfolio that I am comfortable watching drop by half or more at repeated intervals over time.

Maybe not halved, but the Nasdaq is is an bear mkt. QQQ broke the prev low of 79 today.
It's going to be a long summer/fall
