Here's my take on FLEX thru KLIC. Please keep in mind that I did not do any formal back testing but "eye-balled" charts for patterns that seem to be congruent with the 5/8 SMA crossover approach. IDTI and GMST have the charts that are most congruent with this model...and I believe they have been previously mentioned on the thread. Both GMST and IDTI as well as FLEX, HGSI, IDPH and HLIT were giving signals of tentative crossovers late on Friday. These could be clearly negated given the poor close on the COMPX. GMST...nice "rolling" chart. Wade Cook would be proud! Higher highs and higher lows. MA crossover near and confirming signal on stochastics. Beta of 2.73 from IBD. siliconinvestor.com IDTI...mentioned earlier on the thread as a good 5/8 candidate. Periodicity looks good to me. Buy signal looks near. No whipsaws. Beta of only .43, probably because its been in a fairly steady uptrend. RS of 98. Higher highs, higher lows too. siliconinvestor.com HGSI...lots of volatility recently. Beta of -2.00. Analysts meeting this week. siliconinvestor.com INCY..on CatLady's list. RS of 89. Negative beta similar to HGSI. siliconinvestor.com FLEX... would have been nice to catch that 20 point downdraft siliconinvestor.com HLIT...currently being driven down by problems in growth estimates. ITWO...moves around siliconinvestor.com JDSU...news on CEO changes may have contributed to selloff? ICIX, INKT, INSP, KLAC, KLIC...nothing in these charts gives me great excitement.
