Less than a month after CBS announced that it had commissioned a TV movie about the celebrated six-year-old Cuban shipwreck survivor, cable's Fox Family Channel says it has greenlit "The Elian Gonzalez Story." Although no director or cast is on board, a Fox Family spokeswoman says the plan is to schedule the movie in September, getting a jump on CBS' version, which has a tentative November air date, during sweeps.
