On 14 April, the NASDAQ dropped to this year's closing low of 3321.29. Today it approached that low with a close of 3390.40, only 2 percent above the prior low. The table below also shows each stock's close on that date and the percent difference. The SOX-X was up 7 percent, but the semi-equips were down 1 percent. The range in the table is staggering, however. PHTN occupies top spot in the table with a gain of 33 percent - note that "next year's PE" is 44. HELX occupies last place in the table with a loss of 29 percent - note that "next year's PE" is 16. By far the best stock in the group, KLIC, with respect to "sum of 2 yr earnings", $8.59, and "next year's PE", 9, lost 16 percent over that period.
