My Grandpa used to go salmon fishing of the coast of Oregon in not much more than a rowboat. I now find it amazing that he survived it at all, never mind coming back with a boat full of salmon just about every time. They migrate north certain times of the year. And that's when he would go out. No fancy tech. equipment. Just a wing and a prayer.
