I'm glad to hear that the man has credentials. Its more than I've got.

The difficulty I have with these kind of predictions is that they ignore:

1) World economic events that effect everything financial. The most recent being the S.E.A. currency crises.

2) World political events which play out in some unknowable fashion.

Being a student of history (economic and political), I'm always amazed how today's sound political and economic decisions are viewed as folly just a short time later. My favorite is how the FED raised interest rates during the depression in hopes of strengthening the economy. Or today how the Word Bank is insisting that third world countries jump through our economic hoops to rebuild their economies. What works in the the USA today has disastrous consequences in the Congo, or Bangladesh.

Have a good week-end...Jerome
