Why is Intel using DDR exclusively in their servers?

Duh!--because the corporations that use servers are not as discerning as home computer users.

This has been discussed ad-nausium.
Not sure I can say it technically correct but I will try.
DDR is better for servers because
1) large servers can better handle the increased number of pins vs PCs and devices with small MOBOs.
2) On an latency basis with large quantities of stacked memory DDR is better but for a PC with a couple of memory chips RDRAM will perform much better.
Can someone find a link to Intel's explanation?
