have you ever thought of the converse of what you are doing? ie looking for stocks to short with the following attributes: stock price is above 13wk average and 13 week average is above 200 d average. stock then goes below 13 week moving average indicating a sell/short signal. works best if 13 week average is well above 200 d MA.

I looked at this a few years back... Crossing the 13 week MA to the upside along with increasing MoneyFlow has a better correlation to upward price movement than crossing the 13 week MA to the downside on decreasing MoneyFlow... But, I'll take another look...

Hi Gary. Just noticed your post here from the 20th while following your profile from the Amigos thread. Take a look at AW for a possible play that you speak of. While it does not meet the profile in reverse of Jim's 13 wk crossover, IMO it is prime for some profit taking in this market.

SHFL is another that has been identified in the same mode. I did short it at 15 and am waiting for it to break under 14 for a move down to 12. Opinion?
