Go Geo!

Really, go!

Go some more!

My cat Scout has been healthy as a horse lately. About six weeks ago he had to have all his neck fur shaved off and multiple stitches put in to heal up some terrible cuts he had that had become infected. Had to spend a week in the hospital on antibiotics, but he is fine now. Got the lacerations from trying to scratch off the new collar he got for his little cat license tag. Needless to say, he isn't being forced to wear collars any more.

THe weird thing is that he had the same medical problems right when we moved from the country last year. He got left out at the farm because we couldn't find him on moving day and when I was back out there to get him a couple days later, he was deathly ill from infections on his neck from barley surviving a coyote attack. Without his protector our dog Princess, the coyotes were brave enough to come close to the house, and he nearly got killed.

Both times, he has had about 3" of fur shaved off around his neck and with the stitches, he looks like a Frankenstein cat that has had his head reattached.

But he's fine now.
