Guess the Al-bashers need to redirect their potshots here. We should all put up websites of spoiled Little Miss "Laury" Meyers... sending the clear message that his job, too, has limits. Nobody likes to be the villain and if enough venom is directed his way, maybe he'll have second thoughts.

I think Kudlow is one of the best out there. He deserves kudos for beating the "Fed over-kill" drum." I'm surprised it's Clinton's own appointees that are potentially killing this market. 1/2 point seemed to harsh for Greenspan given his moderation theme, and as it turns out, he was probably outvoted. Almost seems that Clinton is out to sabotage Gore. If we go into recession before the election, it's certain that Gore's chances will slide downhill rapidly. Maybe old Bill is trying to leave the door open for Hilary as the first female pres. According to MSNBC last night, the Republican party has adopted a "beat Hilary at any cost" mind set, because they fear her clout nationally in a few years. All this political intrigue would be fun to watch if it was killing the markets.
Time to do some Saturday afternoon chores, but looking forward to the new thread.
