Reid you must have had a rough night. We always go for a 10 mile run around MIT?s campus on Saturday, Cisco said.

Now Im beginning to question my perception of reality. I said yes but we are in the Alps remember? He started to laugh at me which was even more puzzling to me. Why the laugh? I asked. He said "Reid we are at MIT not in the Alps. That must have been one hell of a dream that you were having and what is this about Bera?

A bit confused I turned on the lights and looked around the room. What the H---? I was in my dorm bedroom. How could this be? It all seemed so real. And then it hit me that if we were not in the Alps then Bera must be all right! I asked Cisco when the last time he had seen her and he responded "last night I stopped by the room where she was at the lab ".

I could hardly believe my ears. I wanted to see for myself so I began to get dressed. I asked Cisco to drive me to the lab so I could see if she was really there. He agreed and off we went. As I road with him I was quite and deep in though. It all seemed so real. At any rate I could not have been happier. I was now even happy that Cisco had put out my lights when I opened my door. It would have been horrible had I injured my brother over a dream. I pulled down the sun flap on the passenger side of the car and opened the cover which disclosed a lighted mirror and I could see the bruise on my cheek bone on the left side of my face where the punch had landed. It reminded me a little of our childhood because I never once got the best of Cisco in any of our skirmishes. A broad smile grew on my face as I thought about these not too distant memories.

We were almost there now and I could see the distant lights of the parking lot reflecting off of the overcast night sky.........

To be continued........
