Fez, thanks for bringing this issue to the baord. It's something that's been circulating in the back of my mind for some time now.

Please provide us with the source of the ION information that you posted in the uplink (date of pub and url), if you don't mind.

I have a feeling that the release is quite old, probably predating the GBLX acquisition of Racal. I could be mistaken, but this has not been played up the way it should, if it were still in force with the same implications as when it was first written.

Also, we've not seen any earth-shattering claims or announcements of such a relationship in the states, thus far. All of which leads me to infer that all is not, shall we say, mutually appealing, between these two outfits.

Instead, what we've seen is GBLX making a very large commitment to go with one of MFNX's principal looming competitors in the North American Metro space: Telergy.

I am not aware of any specific set of circumstances that point to why this should be so, but it sure seems to me like the most obvious of alliances, i.e., that of a business relationship between MFNX and GBLX here in the states, has yet to take place.

I'd be interested in reading comments from you and others on this matter.

FAC
