Clappy...I was elsewhere engaged last week so I hardly traded at all. Tried briefly to sell cc on QCOM on Thur morning but missed it and didn't check back in until Friday, that would've been a great play (tried June 110s), could've bought 'em back in 24 hours. Oh well.

I've been playign NTAP mainly. I know and feel safe w/ the trading ranges of NTAP, SEBL, JDSU and I thot QCOM (I didn't expect below 90 close). I'd like to see NTAP go lower again and I'd buy and sell calls. If SEBL got down into the 110 range I'd so the same.

How 'bout yourself? What are you trading? Go take a look at L3's post on our options thread, he sees a bear coming up but some short term rallying ahead, good for playing volatility.

Hey Clappy, I'm not trading volatility

The only volatility I intend to trade is a round-trip airline ticket down to Cuba and back. <ggg>

The only shares of Qualcomm I've ever sold were caused by Fidelity raising my maintenance level to 80%. When Qualcomm crashed on "tech wreck" day, April 14 (my memorable 50th birthday), I avoided further sales with a cash input. To avoid further problems, I have since transferred my account. It's all ironic now that Fidelity forced me to sell at 135. But now I have more permissible margin. I will not use it, though. If Qualcomm hits 80, it might be tempting.

Love you, man. I wish you were going to join us in Atlanta.

Q rocks. It's just a matter of time. Maybe even the week of June 5-9 when I am in Cuba. My "angels" always go there with me. Qualcomm frequently amazes at the least likely time. News happens on a serious level every few days as Qualcomm's fundamentals surge forward. We need major news and my "angels" are now telling me that a deal of huge proportions will occur between June 3 and 9. Why? It just will. The last time I was there (late March), Motorola and Qualcomm reached an accord.

Just porchin' ("on my cellphone to Nokia")---Ummmm! That couldn't happen, could it? <ggg>
