He likes to inject a litlle reality to people who think stocks only go up, and Buy and hold is heaven. People who bought in 01, 29, 66 waited 10 years to recoup losses. By the way I am 9 dollars up and all the taxes are paid :)

I'm trying to figure out why...<< dh, your selective memory. it was probably you that laughed at me b/c qcom kept going up after i posted on this thread and you just forgot it ;-) relax. it's only money. you take your risks and you win some and you lose some and with a little skill and lotsa luck you hope to be better off. today's disasters can be tomorrow diamonds and today's diamonds can be tomorrow's disasters. place your bet - but don't bet what you can't afford to lose - b/c you might lose it.
