MSB, I think that money will be made on fuel cells and hydrogen. I know we have been hearing about the promise of fuel cells for years, but we finally have some major breakthroughs now. Fuel cell electric cars will give the equivalent of over 100 m.p.g., give off only water vapor as exhaust, be quiet, need less maintenance, and give you the option of refilling at your "gas" station, or filling up at home with hydrogen generated with off-peak electricity in a closed system.

I believe that we are less than 5 years away from a fuel cell car that you can buy. They will ultimately be less expensive to build than the cars we have now.
