Kenneth, As I mentioned to e-bill, there are more than 3 dozen new optical start-ups. Planting one in Ottawa makes sense. I do not know why there are not more. Many of the places in NE and Silicon Valley are just moving the people down from Ottawa or away from NJ. There is actually a job fair that takes place at least twice a year directly across the street from NT with the sole purpose of taking NT engineers to New England. It has been an incredible success for those companies participating, including CSCO and LU (old Cascade division), but mostly the start-ups. tp
