Agreed, Clappy, some people have too much free time. May I share my pet peeve re: PM's? Twice now, in my brief 7 years on the internet, once here and once on old Prodigy, I have had insiders ruin my interest in a stock because they came to me UNSOLICITED and made me a recepient for non-public information, using Private Messages to convey said unasked for material change information. In both instances, I refrained from using it, of course, since I don't want to share an indictment with them. Furthermore, it ruined months and months of sincere due diligence on my part prior to intended investing in both stocks. In both cases, the stocks' prices subsequently shot STRAIGHT UP, WITHOUT me, making me even madder. In the missuse of Prodigy's PM function instance, said insider was a hedge-fund manager a/w/a a legit insider with tons of stock options and incentivies to play along instead of break the rules. It is my understanding he now lives in the Cayman's and spews forth from there to this day. Why I was "selected" for his "favor" is still unknown to me. In the other more recent instance, [one since the first of the year in fact] when a certain party used SI's PM to communicate w/me, said mouthy insider is an in-law to a publically traded company's webmaster. Don't know why I was "chosen" in that instance either. Doesn't change anything! My Keeping of said PM's is a defense I suppose, should accusations ever be made. BUT the thoughtless sabotaging of my hours and hours of research prior to intended investment being lost is what burns me the most! But the strongest defense is that I never bought the stock, nor have I passed along the information to anyone else. Therefore, I was a unwilling possessor of said inside information, which is NOT illegal, but not a benefactor of it, which IS illegal. Well, now you know the rresssssssst of the story, Clappy. Thanks for listening. Regards
