James, I don't know the answer to that question but, when QWest announced their recent expansion of the optical network with Nortel, they said they stayed with the Nortel network management system which I assume is interoperable with Ciena's product as well as many other products. Ciena has solutions which add value but the network management system remains that of Nortel. I do not foresee any other management system displacing Nortel. Do you? Does the Ciena product have its own management system which runs parallel to the Nortel product? Do you know?
