Well Mike old boy, your New York pit bull character is certainly doing a full show now. For that I certainly respect you. We've been here before. <g>

Anyway, to set the record straight I've never said Q would not go down. All I have ever said was it was foolish to try to predict the short term movements of the stock price. The only prediction I ever made was that $100 would hold. Well, that will teach me. Like I've said...I don't have a clue about price movement.
But I will say that I have encouraged people to buy Q during this correction BUT ONLY if they understood it could go lower. Yup, yes I did. Yup. I don't know if any of those folks are still holding, but I am...all the shares I bought at $140ish, $113ish, $108ish and $98ish...little bits at a time to keep for the duration. Yeah, that was dumb in hindsight, but I wasn't interested in short term timing...

...for fear that I am trying to justify myself like I accused that vegas dude of doing I will continue anyway...

I guess it may have something to do with the sub $10 cost basis I have on this stock, but I really don't care what happens short term...long term I know we are headed up as you see as well. Just a different strategy we have. In the long run, I think mine is best...obviously. <g>

So now, let's see...about that Skeeter guy...well, yeah I pick on him. He says dumb things and implied Jacobs was a liar. LG...hmm...I was actually on rather good terms with him. I did make fun of him when he kept saying he wasn't going to post here anymore and did. Funny, no?

For the record, I actually agree with your market perspective and wouldn't be surprised to see us test 3000. Consequently I bailed out of my margin and my riskier Q options last week so I could sleep at night. Still have my stock and all the 2002 LEAPS. Long term/hold to expiration strategy you know. <VBG>

Now take back that hypocrite thing. That wasn't nice or accurate.

Well, Jason, if you bought Q at the $82-$86 level, as you said you would do, and put a stop loss at $78, you just got stopped out.

Now what? When would you buy again?

I'm not trying to be negative here, I'm really interested in how you think, since you made a good call by getting out a couple of months ago.

Regards,

Mark
