They do deserve it now, now that most of their market cap is in the public float, sold there by the insiders who had previously held the majority of the shares in these co's, which kept the prices artificially high. The number of insider shares that are coming out of lockup in 2000 is massive. No way can all that be absorbed by Joe Public, and the prices stay so artificially high.
