so now yardeni can be wrong for being a y2k gloom and doomer, and be wrong again for throwing in the towel and become a new era advocate. the guys from long term capital were all ph.d's with cray supercomputer's and supposedly super hot financial modeling tools, having a ph'd behind your names gives you about as much chance at speculating about future events as somebody name johnsto1 or beara. technology is ongoing and not in it's infancy, ever since gork the neandrathal figured out how to make an arrowhead and a hammer, we've been figuring out how to build the better mausetrap, still doesn't interrupt the boom and bust business cycle. when everybody sezs it has, like they are now with this new economy mantra, it's topping. b
