JRI,

You make some good points, granted. I just argue with the time frame of change occurring around the world. Most people in countries like Russia, India, China, and Mexico don't buy computers and don't surf the web. They save next to nothing a year and if they had extra cash, I think many would rather buy a new bed or something to help them sleep after a 12 hour work day. I also argue that as this market pulls back, many North Americans will find themselves in debt up to their eyeballs. Most north Americans are going to wake up in the coming months realize that the stock market is not going to give them the early retirement they had hoped for. They are going to have to think hard about how they are going to meet their long term financial goals. They are going to have to deal with high interest rates on their debt. They are not going to be spending a lot of hard earned dollars on computers and Internet. Windows 95, Intel P200 and 56k is good enough for most. Broadband can wait...mortgage can't.

Nasdaq 2200-2500 this summer. Nasdaq 1500 with in a year if things get real ugly.
