Somebody awhile back ask me about the fibre Channel industry I said I thought they where going to have a hard time going forward with BRCM new chip set for Ethernet. I'm not alone in that thinking. see Below.

<< 08:58 ET Brocade Comms (BRCD) 110 1/4: USB Piper Jaffray downgrades to NEUTRAL from BUY. Analyst Ashok Kumar says privately held company, Nishan's, SoIP (storage over IP) is one of the most significant changes in the storage industry. They have a potential list of blue-chip backers: Intel, IBM, Cisco, Lucent, Nortel, Sun, EMC, HWP, and Hitachi. Critical mass of backers ensure success of IP/Ethernet as technology of choice for SAN. Kumar says Nishan will debut the product today. Its concept is fairly simple: Fibre Channel is a relatively poor implementation vehicle for storage area networks with so much IP-based networking available. He also says Brocade's PEG multiple is almost 75% overvalued relative to the S&P 500>>

I also believe the above will lead into NTAP lap, so I'm watching NTAP very closely, since I feel it will be one that can move forward once the market is done selling off.
