We are in the information age, the market didn't have that instant access to data in the 20's and the dramatic slowdown in the economy starting june 29 probably was not realized until several months. Can we have a dramatic downturn in the economy like the 20's here, i don't know - i hope not, could we have another oil crisis like the 70's, i don't know, but read a paper from an oil industry analysts that compares the situation and we've become just as complacent about energy as we were going into the 70's.

i just believe when everybody is so fat and happy and complacent is usually when they are all caught on the wrong side, just like a lot of bulls at the march top.
