Hi Susan and All---Can't find the article in this link, as the magazine is just out on the newstand..June 2000...
www.smartmoney.com on the web.... (The Wall Street Journal Magazine)

There is a good article regarding the large institutions, and analysts, researchers, etc. for market makers.. they used 'askjeeves' as an example of how things work when a company goes out for a secondary funding....and explain the ratings...

It did occur to me again to wonder:
1) because GNET is profitable, AND has a large amount of money, if the reason for much of WS to be ignoring GNET....is because they won't be making large (and sometimes VERY) large fees from GNET....

and
2) also wonder how the 14-15 companies mentioned in their March issue are doing today...and how many of these have private funding, vs WS investment banks....(just put in GNET in the search area)....
KLP --wishing there was more time tonight to work on this...
