I have two points Carl. First the Graphics DDR is not the same configuration as that required for motherboard use and it is not used in the same way. I note that no motherboard designs were announced at the DDR Summit.

Second, INTEL can get the RDRAM it needs by simply issuing a PO for ~ $78 M worth of RDRAM to Samsung, NEC, Etc. This is peanuts to INTEL. So RDRAM availability is not a stumbling block for the introduction of Willamette.
