I still have my GSTRF too.
Bought more a couple weeks ago at $9.
It is a steal now.
In my opinion only of course.

y, i have my views and, like oj simpson, i'm sticking to them ;-) i'm not always right - especially about stock PRICES. sometimes i'm right/wrong. sometimes i'm flat out wrong. i'm always willing to incorporate new evidence into my "paradigm," if you will. however, most of the time the folks that disagree w/ me jump on the ad hominem band wagon rather than discuss issues.

your fingers are out of your ears, right? ;-)

i think there could be some validity to the lecture. the issues are extraordinarily complex. one thing supporting this mania is the world view that the dollar is the currency of the world. that is why money supply can increase over the short term w/o really whacking the dollar's value (something that usually restrains money supply growth - otherwise, just give everyone in the country a million dollars and be done with it).

i am very confident that this chirade will break (never in history has a mania not broken badly - at least i'm aware of none). i am not confident in a time frame due to the complexities, one of which you touched on in your note.

good luck.

ps - if greenspan slows (or stops!!!) money supply growth - WATCH OUT!
