Does Barrick want to join the GATA Party ? If so, to help or to hurt ? Rumor has it that Barrick's CEO Randall Oliphant sought out a GATA supporter who was attending a shareholders meeting of Barrick and was told that Barrick would like to meet GATA to hear their views. Also, after the meeting, this person was introduced to the director of Investor Relations, Richard Young, and had a conversation about hedging. If this rumor is true and happened recently then can anyone here verify it ? Did Barrick have a shareholders meeting last week ? Another rumor is that a mainstream U.S news publication will do a story on GATA, the Dallas Morning News. Will have to watch for this one to become true this week or next. Need a url link to this paper. And these rumors just keep on a rolling in, like a snowball rolling down a hill gathering more of its kind of stuff. Just close your eyes, and imagine it. GATA folks see a clean wet white snow layered hill with good hands Bill Murphy nudging forward that snow ball from hell that was announced by others as not existing, but now that the ball is rolling I expect their spin on this will be to say that all thats happening is that a gata nut is doing like an elephant dung beetle and pushing into a ball a food supply. Yes, they really eat that stuff. So lets reveal layers of this "ball" being made larger. (1) ... a wealthy GATA supporter who was thoroughly annoyed about the apparent Treasury/CIA intrusion and obstruction into GATA's "search for the truth" made a phone call to Senator Jon Kyl, a member of the Select Committee On Intelligence Committee. From that, Senator Kyl called him back and it is being arranged for Bill Murphy to call Senator Kyl to tell him of GATA's activities. (2) Bill Murphy has been to the home of Senator Warner of Virginia, who is also on the Select Committee On Intelligence. (3) Bill Murphy is to have lunch with a New York GATA supporter who is in town with a Board of Governor of the New York Stock Exchange. They both want to hear first hand of GATA's latest findings. (4) Bill Murphy met with a friend of Congressman Dick Armey of Texas, the House Majority Leader, and took the "Gold Derivative Banking Document" and the Roll Call open letter and said he was going to bring it to the attention of Congressman Armey immediately. (5) The gold derivative situation is out of control and a danger to the banking system. (6) Gold loans exceed 11,000 tonnes. Gold mine supply is only 2579 tonnes. That is a recipe for a banking disaster. (7) It is only a matter of time now before big private money realizes the extraordinary money to be made by going long gold and taking on the bullion banks and central banks. The bank's greed has placed them in a "NO WAY OUT" position. (8) Stay tuned! For more rumors. paper plastic or physical as it will determine what you receive snow laced with gold ribbens, or dung dougak
