Chaz, Gotta be honest - it is more gut feeling. They may be seen to be innovative (particularly in IP) but when it comes out to building out mass wireless networks, where is there pedigree?

When it comes to business critical situations, of which UMTS roll-out is...who would you trust?

This is a problem for many companies who have been 'hyping' IP capability, simply put they do not have the QoS expected in the telecom market. You know the story about how often your company server goes down...probably frequently (as one of ours just did as I am writing this! This is true BTW)..just compare that to a telephone switch designed to be down no more than 2 hours in 30 to 40 years.

Nortel - Nor telecommunications?
