Steve 667: re: "I can never remember a period when stock price was not talked about. Please give us some dates when this phenomena took place."

Well posts 8000-83 from Nov 6 to maybe Nov 11, posts 9000-9072 from Jan 30 to Feb 3, posts 10,000-10039 April 1-3 - the thread didn't seem to be talking about price.

Is it possible that the stock price when it is talked about now, seems much more likely to be accompanied by mysteriouso predictions, as in 'next stop 44', 'TA says we could/will see...', 'I've traded this stock x times successfully and now I am saying the stock price is going to... or won't get to...'. It does seem that there's much more of these posts recently. Can't recall seeing the usual mysterioso prediction though: 'I've just bought guys, and with my luck watch out-- the stock will be headed lower.'

Myself, I sense the quality of posts on the thread is deteriorating.
And my posts may not be helping to improve the situation -g-.

jmo,
Paul Senior

Steve - Quite frankly I think the last fwew weeks have been an amazing demonstartion that predicting stock prices is hot air and concentrating on the fundamentals is what helps you get increase your net worth.

No-one can predict P/Es but earnings and prospects and cusotmers and business can be quite visible in certain businesses and SNDK is one of them.

I haven't the faintest idea what P/E the market will attribute to SNDK in a year or two years time but I am pretty sure that it is going to be earning three or four times what it will this year and that its market opportunity will be growing at ealst as fast as today. Disruptive technology may come along and SNDK may go out and buy it or may just drive down the prices of CF.

eli used the term Tornado. He is usually quite conservative.

Best regards,
