BILOW

What is your spin on this news from Taiwan?

Are they lying about the RDRAM production?
Do you really think they are having trouble producing it.

In the end, all the counts is production of the components and delivery to the OEMS. DELL can sell all they can get.

:)

RS,

I was wondering when Micron was going to step into the market. I guess they are timing their entry for the second half of the year when Willy etc are introduced.

If they shift a quarter of their production to RDRAM that will push RDRAM way over 100 M chips this year.

Thanks,

Those Chinese have a way of getting information don't they.
The quantities fit intel's roadmap. Interesting this rumor comes out several days after the intel/dram meeting. I suspect the short stuff is coming from the DDR meeting.
