Scumbria,

I am not sure it is a good idea to base the reputation of the Fed Chairman on intraday quotes.

Joe

PS: Wern't you the one complaining about excessive prices of homes in the Silicon Valey? Didn't people complain about excessive valuations of Cisco, Krispy Kreme or Intel? In my opinion, valuations of assets are all part of the inflation picture, as much as price of milk or steel.

OT OT - there are serious deals out there. I just picked up Global Crossing (GBLX) and Gateway. They are sickeningly cheap.

edit - remember, this is coming from the guy who said SNDK was cheap at $70. my most costly trade this year.

Scumbria,

Another case of the government needing to keep their god damn noses out of things.

Yeah, let's crush the economy so we can manage it back to health and claim we are brilliant... <sigh>

Steve

It does appear that the Fed is out of control. Greenspan is in danger of destroying his reputation, which he never deserved in the first place.

Scumbria,

What prompts you to make negative comments re Greenspan? Do you have evidence that he is a braggard, a liar and/or an incompetent?
