Just called CBOE on this. They said Fidelity is full of sh*t.
Hmm...
Now what the hell do I do?
Back to Fidelity.

That makes no sense at all. LEAPS split like the stock does, just asyou say. Did you notify them at the time of the split? Can you go over the #s again

One 2001 LEAP at 80 strike price.
Becomes 2 2001 LEAPS at 40 strike price
Becomes 8 2001 LEAPS at 10 strike price

That all makes sense. How can 1 LEAP become 800 $80 leaps. For each LEAP you bought, you should now be able to have 8 LEAPS, so 800 shares. Where does 800 LEAPS and 4000 shares come in????

Based on your illustration, you should have 8 contracts at $10, a.k.a. the right to buy 800 shares at $10.

There are no other possible interpretations.
