What I'm concerned about is that the Fed seems intent on crushing any attempt at a rally. Sooner or later Greenspan will get exactly what he asked for.

Scumbria,

I think what the feds want is to squeeze some of the excesses out of the system. Many said that the Naz in July bore no comparison with tulip mania but I disagree. What's happened since is the stocks with no foundation.....no profits and poor margins...are being leveled. However the stronger stocks...like the AMD's are getting hurt a little but generally holding their ground.

And for the record, I have about a 125 stocks under analysis right now and the above scenario is being repeated over and over again. The fat is being cut out...it was inevitable. Its only if I see muscle start to go, will I get worried.
