GB, RE<AMD stock now performing significantly worse than the overall market>

I don't think so. Look at the semi as a group. AMD performs no worse than the rest. Money seams to be fleeing the tech/semi sector. We are at the sympathy of the whole market, IMHO.

panic

PS: no panic here. buying AMD options since opening. trade on revenue, trade on earnings, trade on value or whatever you name it. AMD wins eventually.

Re: "AMD stock now performing significantly worse than the overall market. I don't understand this. Are people seeing
the sale of the CPD as a sign of weakness or something."

Comment: Once again, weakness is technical in nature as it dropped out of the short term channel between $85 and $105 (+/- $1.00)...Tested support around $77 this AM, so far, so good...but that 1/2 point increase by GS coupled with the Boo.com bankruptcy has sure has knocked any remaining wind out of Nasdaq...Hopefully discriminating buyers will enter before the day is out and take AMD north of $80 once again! (We Canadians are trying to enjoy a 3 day weekend and look what happens!)
