I think by 2:40-2:45 we'll know which direction this market is going to go this week. If the buyers aren't there by then then I think we drift lower. If we get an afternoon rally - that holds - then we could bounce to 3650 again... I think much depends on the conviction of buyers later in the day. BWDIK. I haven't been guessing well lately. :)

Anyone know what the average trading volume (shares) has been in the Naz in the past few weeks...hasn't it been in the 1-1.2 b range??

Looks like we will finish north of 1.6B today...that would be one of heavier days this month...are we seeing a volume pickup...climax around corner?

Agreed that today (and lately) extremely ugly technically...no doubt about it...but also, fear factor seems much on the rise....

There is a historical tendancy for "turn-around" rallies to begin on Tues....after really, really bad Mondays....

Naz down now 4 straight days.....regardless of longer-term..I would think we would get some sort of over-sold bounce very soon....Tuesday morning seems to make sense...

I suppose a heavy volume comeback at the close today would be interesting...if unlikely...
