I never intended to make johnd feel bad, or good. I just wanted to point out that the long-term shareholders have experienced incredible appreciation in their shares over the years in spite of stepping into some pretty deep gopher holes along the way. For some time now, he's been consistently posting news, analysis, and opinions pointing out how profitable investing in Microsoft will most likely be over time. Unfortunately, this bit of a decline has distracted him from continuing this effort. I hope he experiences some encouraging results soon and resumes posting the gems he finds so the rest of us can benefit from his work. Cheers, PW.
