The market is saying they understand the gold reserves held by the US are gone or have been greatly reduced. So suddenly you are the sock puppet for the entire market? You have no friggin' idea whether or not the gold is there or not. And I can guarantee you that if the gold has been sold contrary to congressional authority, there would be absolute hell to pay and no one, NOT EVEN GWB would unleash such a firestorm on the country by opening his trap and speaking out.
