Tell me, Tazio, at just what time does "too early" end in a culture that eats dinner in the middle of the night? Just curious. I lived for a while in Mexico City when I was an undergraduate in the 60's. I never could get used to the meal times. Slept right through dinner.

I agree that the free market should prevail; I don't like the idea of Governments telling people where they can play.

The Valencia-Madrid match is the final of the European Cup, now called the Champions' League, the first time it has ever been played between two teams from the same country. Three of the four semifinalists were from Spain, which I thought might have got some attention in the Spanish speaking world. There is also a local connection, with Argentines Kily Gonzalez and Claudio Lopez playing for Valencia and Brazilians Savio and Roberto Carlos for Madrid.
